A growing, relationship-driven general contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Executive to provide leadership across a diverse pipeline of projects. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, long-term growth, and the chance to help shape a scaling organization.

Our client is a well-established construction firm with 25+ years in business and a team of ~20 professionals. They deliver a diverse portfolio including commercial, multifamily residential, assisted living, and education projects, ranging from renovations to new construction up to $60M. With ~90% repeat clientele and a strategic partnership with a major regional GC, they have a strong and consistent pipeline throughout Massachusetts and into Connecticut. The company is in a significant growth phase, expanding revenue from $26M last year to a projected $50M by 2027.

Description

The Senior Project Manager / Project Executive will serve as a key leader within the organization, overseeing multiple projects and supporting the company's continued expansion. This individual will play a critical role in driving project success, mentoring teams, and ensuring strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Lead project teams, providing mentorship and operational guidance
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and overall project performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and partners
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are upheld across all projects
  • Support business development efforts and help secure repeat work
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

Profile

A successful Project Executive - Commercial & Multifamily Construction should have:

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up or renovation projects (multifamily preferred, but open to other sectors)
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Track record of managing projects through full lifecycle (precon to closeout)
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Stable career history with progressive responsibility
