Job Summary
The Project Executive will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of multiple drywall projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality and safety standards. This role involves providing leadership and strategic direction to project teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will also focus on developing and mentoring project personnel, fostering a culture of excellence, and supporting the company’s continued growth and success in the commercial construction industry.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads and motivates a strong management team in partnership with the Directors of Operations and Field Management.
  • Organizes and evaluates staff performance to ensure project success and team efficiency.
  • Builds lasting client relationships through coordination with the Marketing team.
  • Develops and maintains effective cost control measures, ensuring accurate financial tracking and projections.
  • Oversees field operations, systems, and policies to drive consistency, productivity, and quality across all projects.
     A. Project Completion Audits
  • Assists in evaluating field performance in the following areas:
    • Cost efficiency
    • Productivity
    • Unit pricing
    • Quality standards
    • Manpower utilization
    • Scheduling
    • Subcontractor management
      B. Oversees project documentation, including but not limited to:
    • Project schedules
    • Key correspondence and documentation
    • Accounts receivable
    • Accounts payable
    • Requisitions and procurement records
    • Change orders and related approvals
  • Project Cash Flow Management
  • Oversees project closeout activities to ensure all deliverables and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvement and implements effective solutions.
  • Ensures full compliance with the company’s safety program and promotes a culture of safety across all teams.
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations and President

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with drywall experience strongly preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in construction project financial management (preferred)
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding goals with minimal supervision
  • Highly self-motivated with strong initiative and accountability
  • Dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of personal and professional excellence
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required
  • Must sign a Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement upon hire
