Project Executive – Cold Storage Construction

Our client, a nationally respected commercial general contractor, is seeking a Project Executive to oversee the successful execution of large-scale cold storage and temperature-controlled construction projects.

Position Summary

As a Project Executive, you will provide strategic oversight for multiple cold storage projects while leading project teams from preconstruction through closeout. You'll serve as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for multiple cold storage construction projects.
• Lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and financial performance.
• Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions.
• Participate in preconstruction planning, value engineering, and project strategy.
• Mentor and develop project management staff.
• Ensure client satisfaction while driving operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two completed cold storage construction projects is required.
• 15+ years of commercial construction experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of cold storage building systems, insulated envelope construction, refrigeration coordination, and mission-critical scheduling.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing project teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
