A well-established New York City general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Foreman to oversee high-end residential renovations and ground-up construction projects throughout Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs.
This position is ideal for a hands-on field leader with experience delivering luxury residences where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism are critical. Projects may include luxury apartments, townhouses, penthouses, and private residences featuring custom millwork, premium finishes, and complex architectural details.

Job Details
Responsibilities
Lead daily field operations on high-end residential construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors, skilled trades, vendors, deliveries, and jobsite logistics
Review architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, and finish details
Maintain exceptional standards for craftsmanship, cleanliness, and site presentation
Closely monitor custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, flooring, painting, and other finish work
Identify field conflicts and coordinate solutions with project managers, architects, designers, and trades
Track daily progress and ensure work remains aligned with the project schedule
Conduct quality-control walkthroughs and maintain detailed punch lists
Communicate professionally with clients, building management, architects, and design teams
Coordinate inspections, building access, elevator use, material deliveries, and occupied-building requirements
Enforce company safety procedures and applicable NYC regulations
Maintain daily reports, progress photographs, and jobsite documentation
Protect completed finishes throughout the construction process
Qualifications
At least 5 years of construction experience, including experience as a Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or Superintendent
Proven experience with luxury residential renovations or ground-up residential construction in New York City
Strong knowledge of custom millwork, architectural finishes, stone, tile, cabinetry, flooring, and detailed interior work
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors in active or occupied residential buildings
Familiarity with NYC construction requirements, inspections, and building rules
Current OSHA 30 certification and required NYC Site Safety Training credentials
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finished work
Professional communication and client-facing skills
Ability to anticipate problems, make sound field decisions, and keep projects moving
Comfortable using email, smartphones, and construction reporting tools
