    ProjectGrantManager

    As Project Grant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Port Elizabeth Upgrade Project and APM Terminals Elizabeth’s decarbonization ambitions. The role is responsible for managing the Clean Ports Program sub-award, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and identifying additional funding opportunities that support both financial and environmental objectives. YouwillactastheprimaryliaisonbetweenAPMTerminals,thePortAuthorityofNewYorkandNewJersey,governmentagencies,utilityproviders,andabroadrangeofinternalstakeholderstoensuresuccessfulgrantadministrationandprogramdelivery.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Developandmaintainafundingroadmapalignedtoprojectphases,includingequipmentelectrificationandinfrastructureupgrades.

    • Monitorfederal,state,andlocalfundingopportunitiesandprioritizegrantsandincentivesthatsupportbusinessobjectives.

    • Leadthefullgrantlifecycle,includingapplicationdevelopment,budgeting,stakeholdercoordination,administration,andreporting.

    • Ensurecompliancewithgrantrequirements,reportingstandards,andapplicableregulationsacrossagenciesandfundingprograms.

    • Managefinancialreporting,forecasting,performancetracking,andgrant-relateddocumentationfortheElizabethUpgradeProject.

    • Buildandmaintainrelationshipswithfundingbodies,regulatoryagencies,communitystakeholders,andstrategicpartners.

    • Collaboratewithglobalandlocalcross-functionalteams,includingProcurement,Legal,Finance,Tax,Treasury,EnergyTransition,andDecarbonizationfunctions.

    • Minimum7yearsofexperienceingrantwritingandadministration,includingatleast4yearsmanaginglargegrantsexceedingUSD100million.

    • StrongunderstandingofU.S.federalandNewJerseyregulatoryframeworks,politicaldynamics,andenvironmentallegislation.

    • Abilitytoanalyzeandinterpretcomplexlegal,regulatory,andcompliancerequirements.

    • Strongfinancialacumen,includingknowledgeofforecasting,cashflowimplications,taxconsiderations,andtreasuryimpacts.

    • Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunication,stakeholdermanagement,negotiation,andrelationship-buildingskills.

    • Bachelor’sdegreeinBusinessAdministration,Finance,PublicAdministration,orarelatedfield;amaster’sdegreeispreferred.

    • Comfortableoperatinginadynamicenvironmentandworkingacrossculturestoachievesharedobjectiveswithintegrityandprofessionalism.

    SalaryRange:USD117,000-USD130,000

    Benefits:Full-timeemployeesareeligibleforHealthInsurance,PaidTimeOff,and401(k)match.
