Job Title: Project Intake Analyst/Business Analyst
Location: Roseville, MN
Type: 11 month Contract
Compensation: $47.00 - $51.50
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

• Review incoming project requests for alignment with capital policy and strategic objectives.
• Validate completeness of Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting documentation.
• Analyze project deliverables and costs to determine proper classification (CapEx vs. OpEx).
• Provide clear documentation and recommendations for financial coding.
• Partner with IT teams, Finance, and project managers to ensure accurate intake and classification.
• Communicate findings and recommendations in clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure adherence to internal capital software policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting purposes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline intake and classification workflows.
• Leverage automation and AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Project intake coordination experience with Software Projects/Hardware IT, strong financial/compliance awareness (Capital vs. O&M), proficiency in JIRA/SharePoint.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, collaboration, and attention to detail, with the ability to own work and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates with 3–5+ years of relevant experience in project support, intake coordination, operations, or similar roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
• Experience with fixed assets, capital project management, or capital project budgeting preferred.
• Knowledge of CapEx vs. OpEx principles and financial governance.
