    Job Description

    Our client is seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee customer projects from pre-sales through installation and system validation. This role is ideal for a hands-on project management professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has experience managing complex capital equipment or technology projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead customer projects from pre-sales through installation, commissioning, and validation.
    • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines.
    • Coordinate internal teams, customers, vendors, and third-party contractors to ensure successful project execution.
    • Manage project scope, resources, risks, and change requests.
    • Track project performance and provide regular status updates to leadership and customers.
    • Develop project-specific technical documentation as needed.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Support on-site installation activities and assist wherever needed to ensure project success.

    Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
    • Proven experience managing large capital equipment, construction, or technology projects.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
    • Hands-on leadership style with the flexibility to support all aspects of a project.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
    • Experience with ISO 9000, ISO 13485, and FDA/cGMP environments is a plus.
    • PMP certification is preferred.

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years of project management experience supporting capital equipment, automation, manufacturing, or construction projects.
