Project Lead – High Purity and Passivation

Position Summary

As a Project Lead – High Purity & Passivation, you will be responsible for leading field operations, executing specialized chemical cleaning and passivation processes, and directing crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to operate in diverse industrial environments including data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, and food & beverage plants. The Project Lead serves as the on-site leader, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and client requirements while maintaining project schedules and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct field crews of 2–6 technicians during project execution
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute chemical cleaning and passivation processes
  • Interpret and highlight P&IDs to establish proper system flow paths
  • Ensure proper chemical mixing and application per process documentation
  • Oversee safe handling and use of chemicals including citric acid and caustics
  • Enforce strict adherence to OSHA, cGMP, and company safety standards
  • Complete and review daily safety documentation, permits, and project reports
  • Coordinate mobilization, setup, operation, and demobilization of equipment
  • Load, transport, and manage equipment and materials to and from job sites
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly
  • Maintain organized and compliant workspaces aligned with 5S/CEO standards
  • Train, mentor, and develop field technicians on processes and safety practices
  • Communicate project updates, issues, and progress with internal leadership
  • Ensure quality execution of work in accordance with client specifications
  • Adapt to varying job site conditions, schedules, and operational demands

Required Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial cleaning, passivation, or similar processes
  • Experience leading crews in industrial or field service environments
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical documentation
  • Experience handling and mixing industrial chemicals safely
  • OSHA 30 and Confined Space certifications preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 80%)
  • Ability to lift 25–50 and work in physically demanding environments
  • Proficiency with laptops, mobile devices, and basic software tools
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in industrial services, manufacturing, or construction environments preferred

  • Working knowledge of chemical processes, system flow, and industrial equipment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced job sites
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Effective communication skills with crews, leadership, and clients
  • High attention to safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Adaptability to changing environments, schedules, and project requirements

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 80% to job sites across the S.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments including confined spaces and active construction sites
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on work
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to operate in varying environmental conditions
