The Project Manager, Communications supports a focused portfolio of change, communications, and culture initiatives, with an expected commitment of 15-20 hours per week.  Working hours - Preference for mornings and half days throughout the week but flexibility is needed.  Eastern and Central time zones are ideal.
This role coordinates cross-functional workstreams, manages timelines and dependencies, and ensures teams stay aligned and accountable to deadlines. The work is project-based, remote, and centered on execution and follow-up.
With a strong emphasis on organization and stakeholder coordination, this role keeps initiatives moving forward, identifies risks, and ensures meetings and deliverables are effectively managed.
The ideal candidate has experience coordinating enterprise-level projects and communications, and can operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Project Management
  • Maintain project plans across workstreams
  • Track progress against milestones and adjust plans as needed
  • Monitor deliverables and follow up to ensure on-time completion
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, or delays
Meeting & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage steering committee agendas, materials, and follow-ups
  • Document decisions and action items
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings and events
  • Act as a central point of coordination for stakeholders
Communications Support
  • Support planning and delivery of milestone communications
  • Assist with drafting and organizing communication materials
  • Ensure communications align with timelines and approval processes

Skills & Abilities
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience coordinating enterprise initiatives
  • Ability to manage timelines and dependencies without formal authority
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with communications, change management, and tech launches preferred
