Position Overview:

• Skilled contractor to support the AI Risk Governance team within Enterprise Risk Management.
• This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that blends program coordination with direct task ownership.
• Knows how AI governance programs work, can operate independently, and thrives in an environment where the work spans both supporting an active governance program and enhancing it to make it more robust.
• This is not a strategy or advisory role.

• Governance Operations:
  • Support the AI review team and lifecycle workflow.
  • Coordinate working group meeting logistics: agenda development, pre-read preparation, briefing documents, and action item follow-up.
  • Serve as a liaison between governance functions ensuring handoffs happen cleanly.
  • Track and report on open action items, escalations, and milestone commitments across the governance program.
  • Prepare status updates and briefing materials for senior leadership and committee-level audiences.
• Program Execution:
  • Review Governance program documents, including policies, procedures, standards, templates, based on guidance provided.
  • Develop and maintain project plans; own execution of program roadmap deliverables from planning through delivery in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support the drafting and execution of governance program communications, including stakeholder notifications, training materials, and reference guides.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a governance, risk, or compliance function; preferably in financial services or insurance.
• Demonstrated ability to both coordinate programs and execute deliverables independently.
• Strong project coordination skills.
• Clear, concise written communication; comfortable drafting documents, executive-level committee materials, and stakeholder-facing content.
• Working familiarity with AI governance concepts: use-case risk assessment, responsible AI principles, and relevant regulatory expectations.
• Able to shift between strategic coordination and ground-level execution.
• Comfortable operating in an active, fast-moving program where priorities can shift.

• Experience supporting a formal AI governance, model risk, or enterprise risk program.
• Familiarity with NIST AI RMF or similar frameworks.
• Prior exposure to executive committee governance (agendas, briefing materials, action tracking).
• An understanding of how enterprise AI governance programs work and the discipline to drive execution across a multi-stakeholder environment.
