Position Summary
The RSI Applied Studies and Technology Group is recruiting for a Project-Level Civil/Environmental Engineer or Scientist who will be responsible for contributing to the optimization of long-term surveillance and monitoring of DOE disposal sites (landfills) by integrating ecological engineering principles into their design, evaluation, and adaptive management. This person will focus on geotechnical and ecological design integration for disposal cell performance. This role will also be responsible for working with other team scientists to install new and existing engineering/scientific solutions. This role also communicates program activities, their mission value, and anticipated outcomes to peers and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between the Applied Studies and Technology group's technical work and mission objectives.

Hiring Range: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant's education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel 10% of the time.
