Project Management Assistant


Baltimore, MD/ In-office 5 days/week

Salary: $75,000 base salary



Our client, a well-known privately-held construction company in Baltimore, MD is looking to hire a Project Management Assistant to their growing team! This Project Management Assistant provides administrative and financial support to the project management team within a construction and manufacturing environment. This role reports directly to the Assistant Controller and works closely with Project Managers to help ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Project Management AssistantKey Responsibilities



  • Serve as a liaison between project management, accounting, and external stakeholders

  • Prepare, submit, and track change orders and RFIs

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly pay applications

  • Monitor and update project budgets, forecasts, and cost projections

  • Support invoice processing and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors

  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation

  • Provide ongoing administrative and financial support to Project Managers




Project Management AssistantQualifications



  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Construction Management, or related field preferred

  • 3-5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping or project coordination experience

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with Procore, Sage, or similar software
