Job Title: Project Management Associate

Pay Type: Non-Exempt

Hourly Pay: $16.35 starting

Department: Corporate

Reports To: Special Projects Manager

 

Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Management Associate to support our project management team in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating resources, preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in the development of project plans and schedules.
  • Track project progress and update timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and task lists.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely updates.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
  • Use project management tools (Microsoft Project, Sharepoint) to manage tasks and timelines.

 

Critical Success Factors

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other PPM applications (Microsoft Project, Planview or equivalent) required for effective project management.
  • Experience in multiple steps of the full life cycle of project management, including planning, budgeting, estimating, vendor management, and internal negotiations.
  • Proven problem solving skills.
  • Highly competent communicator with active listening skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to be flexible as the role is very fluid.
  • Highly collaborative team player.
  • Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative support role.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
