Standard Job Description

The Change Management Specialist supports organizational, process, technology, and workforce changes by preparing, equipping, and supporting impacted individuals to adopt new ways of working. This role partners with program managers, business leaders, people managers, and technical teams to help ensure change initiatives achieve intended business outcomes, adoption, and sustained use. Specialist would also take on special business projects in support of business operations for Global Sustainment.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in change management, organizational development, business, communications, human resources, project management, or a related field

3+ years of experience supporting organizational change management, training, project coordination, business transformation, or related work.

Working knowledge of change-management principles and individual adoption concepts, such as the ADKAR Model.

Experience developing communications, stakeholder materials, presentations, or training-support content.

Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.

Ability to work across technical and business teams in a deadline-driven environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Desired Skills

Prosci Certification Program completion or equivalent formal change-management training.

Experience supporting ERP, digital transformation, engineering, cyber, supply-chain, enterprise-system, or organizational redesign initiatives.

Experience in a government, DoD, aerospace, defense, or other regulated environment.

Familiarity with program-management disciplines, Agile delivery, or integrated master schedules.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
