Project Management - Project Manager IV

Location: Redmond, Washington (Onsite)

Compensation: $66 - $76 HOURLY

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced contract project manager to drive spatial audio capture research projects. This role involves planning, tracking, reporting, and providing procurement support for researchers and engineers. The project manager will join a team supporting research scientists, software engineers, and student interns to advance research and development in spatial audio.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive spatial audio capture research projects, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Provide procurement support for researchers and engineers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and individuals throughout the organization.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold strong organizational and time management standards to ensure project completion.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, (Audio) Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5+ years of work experience in research project management with a track record of successful project completion.

Skills: Interpersonal and communication skills, with strong attention to detail. Must be proactive with the ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced research and/or product development environment.
• Experience with programming languages such as Matlab, Python, C++, Max/MSP or similar.
• Experience with spatial audio, binaural audio, and audio signal processing.
• Experience with user experience studies.
