Description

Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Richmond, VA - Hybrid 
Duration:7 months with possible extension 
Pay Rate: $40 to $45/hr on w2 - without benefits
 

Overview:
Introduction

  • Join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA, and play a pivotal role in leading Agile and project management initiatives with a focus on digital accessibility and pre-release testing. We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated professional to drive innovation and continuous improvement within our teams.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Agile Coach OR 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Lead.

  • Demonstrated experience managing Agile workflows for QA, testing, or pre-release teams.

  • Proven project management experience, specifically coordinating initiatives across multiple technical teams.

  • Experience with Agile management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with software accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and the concept of automated testing.

  • Hands-on project management experience implementing automated accessibility testing tools into release pipelines.

  • Experience in scaling Agile, preferably using SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Agile ceremonies and activities specifically for pre-release testing sprints, retros, and sprint planning.

  • Provide clear visibility into testing delivery targets, commitments, and progress to stakeholders.

  • Facilitate processes to proactively identify roadblocks in the testing lifecycle and resolve them using a network of peers and formal escalation channels.
