The Project:

Mace, as part of MPA delivery partner joint venture of Mace-Parsons-Arcadis, have been selected as the Gateway Development Commissions partners of choice to support the GDC across the Gateway Program in New York, inclusive of the Hudson Tunnel Project.

The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.

You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking systems to support project managers in monitoring project activities and milestones.

  • Conduct data analysis, variance analysis, and performance assessments to identify trends, deviations, and potential risks that may impact project schedule, cost, or quality.

  • Prepare regular project reports, dashboards, and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, project status, and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to track project deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.

  • Support the implementation of project controls processes, change management procedures, and risk management strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project data, update project documentation, and ensure consistency and accuracy of project information.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and methodologies within the program controls office to optimize project performance and outcomes.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.

  • 1-3 years experience in project controls, program management, or project management in construction or infrastructure projects.

  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and present complex project data effectively.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with diverse project teams.

  • Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, and performance measurement metrics.

Note: The estimated starting salary for this position is $120k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
