Description
- Lead project planning, execution, and close‑out to meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations
- Manage and support Project Superintendents throughout construction and close‑out
- Develop and maintain master project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Oversee contract administration, including purchase orders, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and close‑out documentation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, authorities having jurisdiction, subcontractors, and vendors
- Conduct weekly owner-architect-contractor meetings and internal financial and schedule reviews
- Collaborate with estimating teams during preconstruction, bidding, and buy‑out phases
- Proactively visit jobsites to monitor progress, safety, quality, and coordination
Profile
- 5+ years of Project Manager experience with a commercial General Contractor
- Proven success delivering profitable, ground‑up commercial construction projects
- Experience in restaurant, retail, and fuel station construction strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, means and methods, and trade coordination
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction accounting and project management software (SAGE experience preferred)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple schedules and budgets simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to active project sites on occasion; overnight travel may be required
