Project Manager 3 - PM3

Location: Waynesboro, Georgia (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager with over 10 to 15 years of experience in leading and managing complex projects. In this senior role, the project manager will provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, overseeing the efficient allocation of resources.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to address project challenges.
• Monitor and control project progress, maintaining accurate documentation and providing regular reports to executive management.
• Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, ensuring project alignment with organizational goals.
• Apply advanced project management methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
• Mentor and coach project management teams, sharing industry expertise and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelors or masters degree in project management, business, engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of project management experience is required, with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects. Candidates should have strong experience in managing projects that impact organizational strategies.

Skills: Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and software is required. The role demands exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, along with the ability to adapt to dynamic project environments and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a nuclear power plant setting is a plus.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.
• Advanced certifications and specializations are highly preferred.
