Project Manager - Custom Automation / Manufacturing
Up to $95K | Immediate Interview Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in custom machinery, automation, or automotive manufacturing. This is a highly visible role managing customer programs from kickoff through completion while coordinating engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and finance.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple projects from kickoff through delivery
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- Own project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
- Identify project risks and develop recovery plans when needed
- Lead customer updates, project reviews, and milestone meetings
- Track costs, forecasting, invoicing, and overall project performance
- Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to customer expectations
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of project management experience within custom machinery, automation, or automotive manufacturing
- Experience managing medium-to-large technical projects
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- PMP certification is a plus
