Description
JSG is looking for an Aerospace Project Manager in Simi Valley, CA.
Pay rate: $38-$45 DOE

Skills-
- Lead the planning and coordination of all transfer activities between originating and receiving facilities to ensure a seamless transition with minimal operational disruption
- Direct cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Materials, Quality, and Finance to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure manufacturing readiness through effective inventory positioning, resource planning, material availability, and production ramp-up activities.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Customers to ensure all transfer activities meet applicable customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Manage engineering change orders (ECOs), change control processes, and routing updates to maintain configuration integrity, traceability, and production continuity.
- Facilitate timely issue resolution and drive critical decision-making to remove obstacles, mitigate risks, and maintain project schedules.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators to ensure successful execution of transfer objectives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders and leadership through regular project reviews and updates.
- Coordinate material transitions, and production cutover plans to support uninterrupted customer deliveries.
- Support validation, qualification, and readiness activities required for successful production transfer and startup at the receiving facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
- Team player who enjoys a fast-paced work environment
- Must have excellent Microsoft office skills
- Aerospace experience is preferred
- Quality Engineering Experience is required.
- Effective Communicator with the ability to successfully lead projects through cross functional teams.
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) methodologies and practices.
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
