Description
The consultant will be performing Project Management tasks including:

• Coordinate the communication between DEC and ITS on projects.
• Work closely with DEC business leaders to understand agency priorities. Interfacing closely with subject matter experts.
• Work closely with ITS leaders to understand technology limitations. Interfacing closely with the staff in the Dedicated Team.
• Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, dependencies, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
• Develop and utilize standard procedures for project delivery, reporting and documentation.
• Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
• Track action items and deliverables on projects.
• Provide guidance and direction to the project teams.
• Direct and coordinate activities of project resources to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Track project-related costs and expenditures.
• Facilitate projects by defining agendas and running meetings.
• Aggregate status updates from project team members, track schedules, and manage risks and issues as required.
• Prepare project status reports and keep the team and management informed of project status and related issues, escalating as necessary.
• Coordinate vendor activities by monitoring and tracking vendor deliverables and commitments where relevant.
• Manage scope and the change request process, coordinating decision process of scope and budgetary impact of changes from original specifications.
• Track and maintain project and technical documentation.

Mandatory Qualifications

1	84 Months of Project Management experience leading complex projects composed of three or more deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful on-time delivery.
2	84 Months of Experience monitoring and tracking progress on three or more long-term projects, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and deliverables.
3	84 Months of experience developing/reviewing project management deliverables (i.e.: project plans, schedules, communication plans, etc.).
4	84 Months of experience facilitating meetings with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization including project team members.
5	84 Months of experience facilitate communication btw project team members.
6	84 Months of experiences leading meetings, documenting notes, status reports and developing project documentations.
7	Bachelor's Degree.
8	Project Management Professional Certification.
