Project Manager

Position Description:

The Banking & Payment Services department is a large group focusing on payments and cash management products, services and systems for our company's Wealth Management and US Bank Clients. We are looking for an exception candidate for a PMO, Financial/Business Mgmt. & Agile Fleet Support role. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage skills acquired from program management, management consulting, client management and team leadership experience, to help shape processes and transform the organization's delivery methodology across Banking & Payment Services. Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships across Business PMO, Product Owner, Tech Partners, and Horizontal Technology & Risk teams, to drive agile transformation & adaptation and standardization across the Cash Management and Payments space in collaboration with the divisional Agile Center of Excellence.

Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

-Work closely with key partners (Technology, Product Owners, Horizontal Teams and other stakeholders) to facilitate on program portfolio status reporting and other PMO activities Support budget process including forecasting resources to align with deliverables

-Provide leadership with meaningful performance metrics and status reports based on Jira dashboards and other tools across the portfolio

-Lead successful creation and execution of Task Orders, Statements of Work, consulting engagements in collaboration with external vendors and internal partners including Sourcing, Legal, Private Banking vendor management and Budget Approval teams

-Facilitate creation of new headcount, onboarding and resource lifecycle management-Individual contributor expected to lead and influence across diverse teams-Identify risks proactively, drive timely mitigation, and escalate to management appropriately Develop, elaborate and track KPIs for projects and systems

-Assist as needed in development of long-term feature roadmaps and assessment of current gaps-Must be able to quickly learn and be hands-on, understanding complexity and ins-and-outs of systems the candidate is aligned to, as well as size/scope and impact of projects to these systems.

-Maintain effective relationships with business owners and application development teams in global locations Perform the role as Agile Squad Scrum Master.

-Work within an Agile team participate in Scrum calls and in all ceremonies related to the agile framework.

Skills Required:

-5 - 8 years of relevant hands Project management work experience.

-Practiced understanding of Agile methodologies.

-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

-Hands on Excel modeling experience

-Advanced Power Point skills

-Excellent organizational and project management skills

-Analytical mindset to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations

-Ability to learn new concepts and technologies, and implement them to solve business problems

-A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their work

-Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team based environment within a heavily matrixed organization

-Ability to perform with minimal management supervision

-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Skills Desired:

-Knowledge of Financial markets, lending based products & Wealth Management

Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent relevant business experience
