Role Description

Owns the project from start to finish, serving as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the landscape construction process.

\n

Coordinates project schedules, ensuring crews, subcontractors, deliveries, materials, and equipment are organized and available when needed.

\n

Reviews project plans and designs to ensure the construction team understands the scope, specifications, finishes, and overall design intent.

\n

Manages daily field operations, keeping the project moving efficiently while maintaining organization, safety, and professionalism on the job site.

\n

Coordinates subcontractors and specialty trades, including concrete, masonry, electrical, irrigation, landscape lighting, fencing, outdoor structures, pools, and other project components.

\n

Oversees material ordering and delivery, ensuring materials arrive on time and meet the required quality and specifications.

\n

Performs quality-control inspections throughout the project and addresses issues before they become problems for the client.

\n

Communicates proactively with clients, providing updates on progress, upcoming work, scheduling changes, and important project decisions.

\n

Manages project changes and client requests, clearly communicating scope, pricing, timelines, and impacts before additional work is performed.

\n

Monitors project budgets and production, helping ensure work remains aligned with the approved scope and financial expectations.

\n

Coordinates project sequencing, making sure each phase is completed properly before the next phase begins.

\n

Maintains a clean, organized, and professional job site, reflecting the standards and image of Ultimate Outdoor Pros.

\n

Conducts project walkthroughs with the client, identifying punch-list items and ensuring details are completed to the expected standard.

\n

Coordinates final completion and closeout, ensuring the landscape is finished properly and the client understands the completed systems and features.

\n

Protects the overall client experience, anticipating issues, communicating solutions, and making sure the process feels organized and seamless from beginning to end.

\n

Manages assigned crew productivity day-to-day and week-to-week, setting clear expectations for production, monitoring progress against project schedules, identifying inefficiencies, and making adjustments to keep crews productive and projects on schedule.

\n

Plans and communicates daily and weekly crew priorities, ensuring each team understands the work to be completed, expected production levels, and upcoming project milestones.

\n

Tracks crew performance and project progress, holding teams accountable for productivity, quality, workmanship, and efficient use of labor and materials.

\n

Anticipates scheduling or production challenges and proactively adjusts manpower, sequencing, materials, or resources to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required; additional education or certifications in construction management, project management, or a related field are beneficial.
