We are an established and growing architectural millwork company looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team.
\n
\n
This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and construction who can manage projects while also understanding the technical side of how cabinets and millwork are designed, engineered, fabricated, and installed.
\n
\n
The Project Manager will serve as a key connection between our clients, architects, designers, general contractors, estimators, drafters, shop, and installation teams. You will help take projects from the initial drawings through engineering, fabrication, delivery, and installation, making sure the details are correct and the project continues moving forward.
\n
\n
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, technically minded, organized, and capable of solving problems. You should be able to look at a set of drawings, understand the design intent, recognize potential issues, and work with the team to determine the best way to build and install the finished product.
\n

Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Manage multiple millwork projects from award through completion
- \n
- Review architectural drawings, elevations, details, specifications, and project requirements
- \n
- Coordinate with architects, designers, general contractors, clients, vendors, and internal teams
- \n
- Review and help develop cabinet and millwork designs for fabrication
- \n
- Work with our drafting and shop teams to ensure millwork is properly engineered and buildable
- \n
- Review shop drawings and ensure dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and construction details are accurate
- \n
- Identify potential conflicts or constructability issues before fabrication
- \n
- Help determine practical solutions for unique or complicated cabinet and millwork conditions
- \n
- Coordinate field dimensions and site conditions with the project requirements
- \n
- Communicate project details and changes clearly to the shop and installation teams
- \n
- Coordinate materials, hardware, fabrication, delivery, and installation
- \n
- Work directly with installers to resolve field issues and ensure proper installation
- \n
- Coordinate millwork with other trades, including electrical, plumbing, appliances, equipment, and architectural elements
- \n
- Track project schedules, deadlines, changes, and important project milestones
- \n
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- \n
- Communicate project updates and issues to clients and contractors
- \n
- Review project changes and determine how they affect fabrication, cost, and installation
- \n
- Troubleshoot problems throughout the project and develop solutions quickly
- \n
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- \n
- Help ensure projects are completed on time, accurately, and to our quality standards
- \n

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 4+ years of experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, construction, project management, drafting, or a related field
- \n
- Strong understanding of cabinet and millwork construction
- \n
- Ability to read and understand architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details
- \n
- Ability to visualize how a design translates into a physical finished product
- \n
- Understanding of materials, hardware, cabinet construction, and installation methods
- \n
- Strong attention to detail
- \n
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- \n
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- \n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- \n
- Comfortable communicating with contractors, architects, designers, shop personnel, and installers
- \n
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- \n
- Proficient with computers and willing to learn company-specific software and systems
- \n
