Project Manager Appliance Standards

Our client, a leading organization in the clean energy space is seeking a Project Manager Appliance Standards to join their team. As a Project Manager Appliance Standards, you will be part of the Codes and Standards department supporting the initiative for Product and Appliance Standards.

Job Title: Project Manager Appliance Standards

Location: Remote with a preference for candidates in the NE Region, Albany, New York

Pay Range: $55-$65/HR 

What's the Job?

• Work with the Codes & Standards team to implement strategies and provide technical support for appliance standards initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders and support rulemaking processes to advance and implement appliance standards effectively.
• Manage multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop and oversee work plans and budgets, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Evaluate technical reports and contractor work, providing constructive feedback and ensuring project milestones are met.

What's Needed?

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in project management or technical roles related to building systems or appliance standards.
• Technical understanding of residential and multifamily building systems, especially heat pumps, including installation and commissioning challenges.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, testing results, and translate them for non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects independently, develop work plans, and oversee multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools like Asana, SharePoint, or similar systems.
