Position Overview

As a Project Manager, you will manage multiple architectural design projects in Houston, ensuring seamless coordination from design development through construction administration. You will play a key role in leading teams, managing consultants, and maintaining quality across all phases of design and documentation.




Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects as a Project Manager from design development through construction
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously across various phases in Houston
  • Coordinate closely with Principal Architects on project management and execution
  • Lead and mentor junior staff on construction documents, detailing, and code research
  • Oversee consultant coordination and ensure clear communication across teams
  • QA/QC drawing sets for accuracy, completeness, and design intent
  • Manage internal project budgets and support financial tracking
  • Coordinate with contractors on pricing, scheduling, and execution in Houston
  • Conduct site visits, field reports, and assist with construction administration
  • Resolve field issues in collaboration with contractors and project teams




Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture required
  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in architectural design firm environment
  • Licensed Architect preferred
  • Proven experience managing projects in Houston or similar markets
  • Strong background in commercial and residential design
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and consultants
  • Experience with building envelope detailing and QA/QC processes
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and design standards
  • Expertise in Autodesk Revit and construction documentation
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities
