Project Manager

Kforce's client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Project Manager to support its Commercial Banking Group in a high-impact, delivery-focused role in Birmingham, AL.

Summary: This position is a backfill for a retiring team member and requires a strong project leader who can own initiatives end-to-end-balancing executive communication with hands-on execution. This is not a status-reporting role. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives, operating both strategically and tactically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end project lifecycle: discovery, planning, execution, and delivery
• Drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities
• Partner closely with business stakeholders and senior leadership
• Lead project planning, including timelines, milestones, and resource coordination
• Manage dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring proactive mitigation
• Operate effectively in both strategic discussions and detailed execution (-in the weeds-)
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment across cross-functional and multi-location teams
• Ensure consistent communication, reporting, and delivery accountability
