At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.We are presently seeking an Operations Project Manager that will create and execute the production planning strategy in conjunction with Production and Customer Service to meet customer demands within the constraints of the capacity plan.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and ExecutionDevelop comprehensive project plans including scope objectives deliverables timelines and resource allocation.Lead project teams providing direction motivation and support throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor project progress identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.Stakeholder ManagementEngage with stakeholders to define project requirements expectations and deliverables.Communicate project status progress and issues to stakeholders and senior management.Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or concerns as they arise.Budget and Resource ManagementDevelop and manage project budgets ensuring financial resources are used effectively and efficiently.Coordinate with resource managers to secure necessary personnel and resources for project execution.Track and report on project expenditures and ensure cost control measures are in place.Quality AssuranceEnsure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure project objectives are achieved and deliverables are of high quality.Leadership and Team DevelopmentMentor and support junior project managers and team members fostering professional growth and development.Promote a collaborative and positive team environment encouraging effective communication and teamwork.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process improvements spinoff and replication projects and implement best practices in project management.Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and enhance future project performance.Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducationBachelors degree in Project Management Business Administration Engineering or a related fieldExperienceMinimum of 8-10 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3-5 years in a senior project management role.Proven track record of managing large complex projects successfully.CertificationsProject Management Professional PMP or equivalent certification preferred.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required Black Belt preferred.Advanced certifications e.g. Program Management Professional PgMP PMI Agile Certified Practitioner PMI-ACP preferred.SkillsStrong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.Advanced project management skills including proficiency in project management software and tools.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Benefits start day 1 Medical Dental Vision 401K Holiday Pay PAID MaternityPaternity leave Tuition Reimbursement Long-term and Short-term disability.Pay Range 100000 - 125000 depending on experience.Excelitas is a global technology leader with more than 7500 employees focused on delivering market-driven solutions to fulfill the illumination optical detection and imaging needs of OEMs and end-users across the biomedical semiconductor industrial consumer products scientific security defense and aerospace sectors.ENGAGE with us today and make your contribution to the future Join the team that leading technology companies turn to for cutting-edge photonic innovation.
