Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee building automation projects from planning through completion. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), combined with proven leadership skills to drive successful project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of BAS projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and client communication.
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to confirm compliance with scope, quality standards, and industry codes.
  • Provide clear direction to field teams, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through consistent updates, problem-solving, and project transparency.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues quickly to minimize delays or cost overruns.
  • Oversee commissioning and closeout activities, ensuring system performance meets design intent and client expectations.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or related construction environments.
  • Solid understanding of BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Distech, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams and client interactions effectively.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contracts for projects ranging from mid-size to large-scale.
  • PMP or other project management certifications a plus.
