Engineering Project Manager

The Project Manager coordinates cross‑functional activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams. Success in this role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously. A solid foundation in engineering principles, project planning, and basic financial analysis is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer & Requirements Alignment

  • Partner with Sales and Systems teams to understand customer needs, equipment specs, and upgrade requirements.

  • Review proposals, cost sheets, and contracts for accuracy and customer-specific requirements.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Technical & Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Work with domestic and international teams to coordinate build schedules and technical details.

  • Solidify product specifications requiring engineering knowledge and technical judgment.

  • Support manufacturing teams during equipment buy‑off and shipment preparation.

  • Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or similar tools.

  • Track changes, update timelines, and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery.

  • Document milestone meetings and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

  • Participate in weekly contract reviews and cross‑project planning sessions.

  • Lifecycle Ownership

  • Manage projects from order through shipment, ensuring successful implementation.

  • Communicate status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate resources, suppliers, and engineering inputs to keep projects on track.

  • Process Improvement

  • Evaluate current project management practices and recommend improvements.

  • Assist with implementation and optimization of project management software.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management experience (engineering background ideal, open to construction management background)
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar)
  • CAPM or similar certification preferred.
  • Understanding of complex industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of project planning, risk evaluation, and mitigation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and MS Project (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
