Job Summary:
Roberts Civil Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for the Civil Engineering Design division of the company at our Savannah, Georgia office.
This position is responsible for leading the design and development of plans for a wide range of land development projects, including commercial sites, residential subdivisions, multi-family communities, and roadway improvements. The Project Manager will oversee design delivery for a diverse client base, ensuring projects meet company standards for quality, accuracy, and timeliness while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. This role also provides leadership to the design team, guiding staff, coordinating project efforts, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Strategic Work
- Complete projects to meet and exceed quarterly goals and metrics
- Recommend efficiencies in the production process to Director
- Keep weekly task lists for work to be accomplished
- Understand RCE Systems and ensure compliance
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Tactical Work
- Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate the preparation of documents or activities for multiple projects
- Routinely interact with clients, authorities, contractors, and subcontractors
- Create proposals
- Engage in subcontractor agreements
- Create project schedule with key permits and track status
- Lead project meetings
- Communicate weekly with clients on progress
- Oversee progress of projects

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required); PE preferred
- Eight plus years’ experience in engineering land development design (preferred)
- Proficient with AutoCAD (required); AutoCAD Civil 3D would be a plus (1 year preferred)

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- United States Work Authorization (required)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel to various project sites
- Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
