Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design-Focused Transportation Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee transportation infrastructure projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering with expertise in transportation systems, including roadways, highways, bridges, and transit systems. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and deliver projects on time and within budget.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as a team lead in coordinating a project team of engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in the concept design, modification, analysis and construction of public and private infrastructure.Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies to define project scope, schedule, and deliverables.Oversee and ensure compliance with engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines.Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects stay on track.Prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, cost estimates, and project documentation.Monitor progress and performance of projects, ensuring high-quality results.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members. Facilitate public meetings, presentations, and communication with stakeholders and community members.Technical assignments may include roadway and highway geometrics, drainage system design, traffic analysis and design, barrier warrant analyses, maintenance of traffic, general civil/site development, and other related tasks. Project types may include but are not limited to taxiway and runway design, pavement design, signing and striping and more. Additional assignments may include developing preliminary design studies and Project Reports, preparing specifications, completing quantity take-offs, and checking design computations.Facilitate the company's quality control procedure for deliverable generation, archiving, and distribution/transmittal.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects.Proven experience in managing large-scale transportation projects from design through construction.Strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles, roadway design, traffic engineering, and project management.Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of federal, state, and local transportation regulations and permitting processes.BenefitsHoliday Time Off - Paid Time off (PTO)Medical, Dental and Vision coverageEligibility for 401(k) plan subject to plan terms (up to 4% contribution)Commuter BenefitsHybrid work schedule (3 days/week in the office)Maternity and Paternity LeaveFlexibility to work 2 additional weeks (10 days) fully remote#J-18808-Ljbffr
