PROJECT MANAGER (Full-time)
Smithfield, RI.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day activities of construction projects from project startup through completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and overall performance.
Coordinate closely with owners, clients, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field personnel.
Oversee and support field operations to ensure work is progressing according to plans and specifications.
Maintain accurate project documentation and provide owners/clients with timely administrative and project information.
Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and potential risks.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
Drive project performance, productivity, and profitability.
Provide clear and consistent communication to all project stakeholders.
Support project closeout activities and ensure successful completion of contractual requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Relevant heavy civil construction experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience managing heavy civil construction projects.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
Strong understanding of construction operations, project controls, and contract administration.
Ability to work effectively with field teams, clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
