We are partnering with a rapidly expanding, privately owned commercial construction firm to appoint a Project Manager in Colorado Springs. This organization delivers a range of ground-up projects across multiple sectors, typically valued between $5M-$30M. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning projects end-to-end.

Description

The Project Manager will report into senior leadership and take full ownership of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

  • Lead project planning, documentation, and execution across multiple jobs
  • Review contracts and drawings to ensure alignment with scope and requirements
  • Manage subcontractor buyout, negotiations, and contract administration
  • Own project financials including cost tracking, forecasts, and margin performance
  • Prepare monthly reports, cost projections, and owner pay applications
  • Oversee schedules in collaboration with Superintendents to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage change orders, compliance, safety, and quality control processes

Profile

For the Project Manager role we are seeking:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial General Contractor
  • Proven track record delivering ground-up projects ($5M-$30M range preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and contracts
  • Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software
  • OSHA 30-hour certification
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of detail
  • Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel regionally
