Seeking an experienced Project Manager to independently lead commercial interior construction projects values between $1M-$2M within a fast-paced environment. This role is based primarily at a prestigious client site in Washington, DC, overseeing project delivery from planning through completion while collaborating with operations leadership and project support staff.

Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Taking full ownership of project budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.
- Leading projects ranging from approximately $1M-$2M in value within active, fast-paced environments.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful project execution.
- Working closely with the Director of Operations and Assistant Project Manager to support operational goals.
- Proactively identifying and resolving project challenges to maintain budget and schedule expectations.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and project partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Primarily working on-site in Washington, DC with a schedule of 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- Minimum 6 years of construction project management experience.
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects independently.
- Strong background delivering interior construction projects, ideally valued between $1M-$2M.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and field operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Must be comfortable working primarily on-site in the Washington, DC area.
