About Our Client

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead sophisticated commercial interior, renovation, and tenant improvement projects throughout the DC and Northern Virginia market. This role is ideal for a construction professional who can step in quickly, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive successful project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Job Description

The Project Manager will:

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and overall execution.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
• Oversee sophisticated corporate interiors, tenant fit-outs, renovations, and repositioning projects.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, schedules, and project documentation.
• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project to track project performance and maintain communication.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Manage third-party vendor coordination and specialty system integration as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project partners, and internal teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

• 5-7+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects independently.
• Background in high-end corporate interiors, tenant improvements, or commercial renovations.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and construction operations.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Knowledge of the Northern Virginia/DC commercial construction market.
