Project Manager - Commercial & LifeSciences - Top NC based GC

My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing construction team in the Triad region. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on PM who can independently manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while handling core project management responsibilities including RFIs, submittals, change orders, scheduling, and client communication.

Description

• Manage commercial construction projects from kickoff through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and contract administration.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting documentation, and project reporting.
• Coordinate with superintendents, project executives, subcontractors, clients, and design teams.
• Monitor project financial performance and maintain accurate forecasting.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Support client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities.
• Utilize project management software including Procore, Microsoft Project, and financial management platforms.

Profile

• 5-7+ years of dedicated Project Manager experience within commercial construction.
• Experience leading commercial, life science, office, higher education, healthcare, industrial, or similar construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project financials, scheduling, contracts, and change management.
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and construction management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
