Job Description
Project Manager
The responsibility of a Project Manager:
- Assist in managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Support budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, and project documentation
- Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage project costs, help negotiate change orders, and track financial performance
- Participate in subcontractor meetings and maintain project communication across all stakeholders
- Monitor project schedules and proactively identify potential risks or delays
- Utilize project management technology and construction software platforms to improve efficiency
- Support quality control and ensure projects are completed to company standards
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, contracts, and documentation
- Take ownership of project responsibilities and contribute to successful project outcomes

A successful Project Manager should have:
- 5 years of commercial construction experience preferred
- Experience working for a general contractor is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent construction field experience will be considered
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Experience with Google Workspace preferred
- Exposure to Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software is a plus
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to learn quickly and take initiative
- Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and desire to grow into greater project leadership responsibilities
