Project ManagerThe Project Manager will:Manage projects from estimating and preconstruction through construction, financial management, and closeout.Lead project planning, buyout, contract administration, procurement, and change management activities.Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to define project requirements and maintain client satisfaction.Obtain and manage permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements when applicable.Visit job sites regularly to monitor safety, quality, cleanliness, progress, and scope compliance.Prepare and negotiate project estimates, proposals, change orders, subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.Develop, maintain, and update CPM project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.Evaluate schedule impacts, identify critical path changes, and support time extension requests when necessary.Collaborate with project superintendents to create and communicate look-ahead schedules.Determine the most effective approach to subcontracted and self-performed work to achieve project goals.Monitor project controls including submittals, RFIs, change order logs, and other project documentation.Manage project budgets, cost tracking, monthly owner requisitions, and vendor payments.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, safety standards, quality programs, and client-specific procedures.Lead project progress meetings and document key action items and decisions.Drive issue resolution by proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.Manage project closeout activities, turnover documentation, and substantial completion requirements.Partner effectively with internal teams including accounting, HR, and operational support groups.Participate in industry networking events and ongoing professional development opportunities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
