Construction Project Manager (Commercial Construction & Site Operations)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications, while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will coordinate clients, design teams, subcontractors, and on-site operations to ensure smooth project execution and successful project closeout.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, risk logs, and procurement plans

Track project progress and provide regular reporting to stakeholders and leadership

Manage subcontractors, contracts, change orders, and material/equipment procurement

Ensure compliance with construction documents, building codes, permits, and safety regulations

Coordinate and resolve design and construction issues with architects, engineers, and clients

Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks

Lead and enforce job site safety programs and OSHA compliance standards

Oversee project closeout documentation, including warranties, O&M manuals, and client handover

Mentor junior staff and support continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in construction project management (required)

PMP, CCM, or related certifications are a plus

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and BIM models (basic understanding required)

Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and reporting

Solid knowledge of OSHA and construction safety standards and regulations
