Project Manager - Construction - BranfordOur client is a well-established Connecticut General Contractor with expertise in commercial construction, interior renovations, site development, and civil infrastructure projects. Known for their collaborative culture and commitment to quality, they offer employees long-term stability and the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the state.As a Project Manager - Construction - Branford, you will be responsible for:Managing projects from preconstruction through closeoutDeveloping and maintaining project schedules and budgetsCoordinating owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractorsOverseeing interior renovation and civil/sitework construction activitiesManaging contracts, procurement, and subcontractor buyoutsReviewing and processing RFIs, submittals, and change ordersMonitoring project costs and preparing financial forecastsLeading project meetings and maintaining client communicationEnsuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standardsManaging project documentation and reporting requirementsIdentifying risks and implementing proactive solutionsSupporting project turnover and closeout activitiesThe successful candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred5+ years of Project Management experience in constructionExperience managing both interior construction and civil/site development projectsStrong understanding of excavation, utilities, grading, drainage, and sitework operationsExperience with commercial interiors, renovations, or tenant improvementsStrong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control experienceAbility to read and interpret architectural, civil, and structural drawingsProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsProven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWhat's on offer:Competitive base salary: $140,000 - $190,000+Annual performance bonusMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysVehicle allowance or mileage reimbursementStable pipeline of interior and civil construction projectsProfessional development and training opportunitiesClear path for career advancementCollaborative and team-oriented cultureLong-term opportunity with a respected Connecticut contractorApply today to join a growing construction firm and lead a diverse portfolio of interior and civil construction projects throughout Connecticut.
