Project Manager Construction

With over 45 years as a trusted General Contractor specializing in Department of Defense, Space and large-scale commercial projects, we are seeking a Project Manager who can provide the leadership, structure, and expertise needed to keep our projects running with excellence.

This is a senior-level leadership role for someone who is ready to step in, take charge of major projects, and work closely with ownership to ensure success from bid to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large construction projects from start to finish.
• Manage all phases of project lifecycle including bidding, buyouts, procurement, scheduling, and cost control.
• Oversee and direct project teams, subcontractors, and field staff, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and Mead Construction leadership.
• Proactively identify challenges and provide solutions, while knowing when to escalate critical issues to senior leadership.
• Maintain all required documentation, reports, and project records in a professional, organized manner.
• Ensure deadlines, budgets, and performance targets are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager (senior or lead role preferred).
• Strong understanding of estimating, scheduling, and construction management processes.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build trust and accountability across teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills — both with clients and internal teams.
• Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
