Job Details
Job Details / Responsibilities:
Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery
Develop, monitor, and update project schedules; identify critical path issues and drive resolution
Own project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, pay applications, and change order management
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including buyout, performance, and compliance
Lead owner, architect, and project team meetings; serve as primary point of communication
Review and process submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and other project documentation
Enforce safety standards, quality control, and compliance with project specifications and regulations
Support preconstruction efforts including estimating input, constructability reviews, and bidding as needed
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, character-driven culture
Drive successful project closeout including punch lists, as-builts, warranties, and turnover
Qualifications:
3–7 years of progressive experience in construction project management, preferably with a general contractor
Proven track record managing commercial, education, healthcare, municipal, or industrial projects
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, budgeting, and scheduling
Experience coordinating subcontractors, managing change orders, and maintaining owner relationships
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar)
Ability to work hybrid with regular presence in the Alpharetta office and occasional job-site visits across Georgia
