Project Manager - Construction - Queens
Our client is a well-established New York City general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the five boroughs. As a Project Manager - Construction - Queens, you will be responsible for:
- Managing projects from preconstruction through completion
- Developing and maintaining project budgets and schedules
- Coordinating owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Managing contracts, procurement, and buyout activities
- Overseeing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitoring project costs and financial reporting
- Leading project meetings and client communication
- Identifying project risks and implementing solutions
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Supporting field teams to achieve key project milestones
- Managing project closeout and turnover activities
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within construction
- Experience managing projects in New York City
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and project controls
- Experience with commercial, multifamily, healthcare, or mixed-use projects
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
