THE OPPORTUNITY
Senior Project Manager who operates as a proactive leader—not a checklist-driven administrator. This role is designed for someone who helps envision client programs from the outset, shapes delivery approach alongside architects and strategists, and actively leads client collaboration throughout design and execution. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for outcomes, not just timelines, and plays a critical role in translating strategy into build-ready execution.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
Partner with client executives, architects, and domain leaders to shape and structure complex data, analytics, and platform programs from initial concept through execution.
Lead multi-workstream programs, including parallel technical design and organizational enablement efforts.
Drive program framing, scope definition, dependency mapping, and delivery sequencing—not just task tracking.
Establish and lead effective client collaboration models, including working sessions, design forums, and governance cadences.
Proactively identify delivery risks, organizational constraints, and decision gaps; surface options and drive resolution.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (architecture, engineering, governance, strategy) to deliver integrated outcomes.
Guide clients through ambiguity during early design phases, helping convert strategy into actionable, build-ready plans.
Own integrated program plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and decision points.
Ensure alignment across technical architecture, data product design, governance, and operating model decisions.
Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders—helping them understand tradeoffs, implications, and delivery paths.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
Location/Travel Requirements:
Based in Memphis, with occasional travel, or based in eastern, central, or mountain U.S. timezones with ability to travel bi-weekly
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
7+ years of experience leading complex technology, data, or analytics programs, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
Demonstrated ability to operate as a project leader who shapes delivery—not just executes pre-defined plans.
Experience managing multi-workstream initiatives that blend technical delivery with organizational and operating model change.
Strong client-facing presence with the ability to lead collaborative discussions and working sessions.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and early-stage design environments where outcomes are being defined in parallel with execution.
Working knowledge of modern data platforms, analytics architectures, and data governance concepts (hands-on technical execution not required).
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
