We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee fast-paced corporate interiors and tenant improvement projects throughout Downtown Chicago and the surrounding metropolitan area. The ideal candidate has experience managing office renovations, occupied-space construction, and interior build-outs ranging from $500K to $15M.

Client Details

A well-established Chicagoland general contractor specializing in high-end corporate interiors, tenant improvement projects, workplace renovations, and occupied space build-outs for Fortune 500 clients, professional service firms, and technology companies.

Description

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements.
  • Coordinate design teams, clients, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Lead owner meetings and provide regular project updates.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to contract requirements.
  • Monitor project financials and profitability.
  • Identify and resolve project risks proactively.
  • Maintain strong client relationships resulting in repeat business.

Profile

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
  • Experience managing Corporate Interiors or Tenant Improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
