Description

The role of the Project Manager is to provide leadership & management for the entire life-cycle of an assigned construction project to include: Pre-development input on design, cost and schedule; oversight and evaluation of on-site personnel; coordination of Subcontractors; ensure work proceeds as specified, on budget and on schedule; all project documentation is properly completed; and the project is successfully closed out and delivered to Owner

Client Details

Our client is one of the top general contractors in the DFW Metroplex. They are mixed commercial, with an immediate need for interior/large commercial experience as they have a backlog of these projects.

Description

  • Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
  • Directs and supervises work of project administration staff and construction engineers, as well as works in partnership with project superintendents to establish operational priorities
  • Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates
  • Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration
  • Coordinates with construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals
  • Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
  • Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

Profile

  • B.S in Construction Management or relevant degree
  • Understand costs and market conditions
  • The ability to lead and manage a team underneath you
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in leading a team is a plus
  • Procore experience is a plus
