Project Manager

IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading efforts within an early-stage PMO focused on emerging technologies, requiring hands-on project delivery and process establishment without a significant strategic or leadership component. The position demands a proactive, execution-heavy professional who can bring order to a rapidly evolving environment.

Position Overview for the Project Manager:

• Responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of delivery aspects for assigned projects within the Talent Technology portfolio.
• Coordinates assignment of Talent Technology responsibilities, develops project plans, and manages tasks and deliverables to ensure timely delivery.
• Works within a team to establish processes, documentation, and structure in a newly formed PMO environment.
• Manages multiple projects with moderate to high risk for a large enterprise, requiring proactive issue resolution and process ownership.
• Executes hands-on delivery related to AI, governance artifacts, intake systems, and delivery cadence, avoiding strategic or oversight roles.

Requirements for the Project Manager:

• 8+ years of project management experience managing multiple projects in a large enterprise setting.
• 2+ years of hands-on delivery, coordination, and governance of AI initiatives.
• Experience with Smartsheets or familiarity relevant to project tracking and risk logs.
• Ability to operate effectively in a newly formed PMO, establishing documentation and processes from ambiguity.
• PMP Certification is required.
