Description

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to senior project leadership, the Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of technically complex design-build projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.
  • Lead pre-construction planning, budgeting, procurement, risk management, and project strategy development.
  • Manage project execution to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
  • Oversee contract administration, subcontractor management, change orders, and project financial performance.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and provide regular project updates to leadership and clients.
  • Promote best practices in project delivery, safety, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Profile

The Successful Applicant

For the Construction Project Manager role we are seeking:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing commercial, institutional, public sector, or technically complex facility projects.
  • Strong background in mechanical and electrical construction systems.
  • Experience with Design-Build and Integrated Project Delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency projects, retro-commissioning, building upgrades, or sustainability-focused construction initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of pre-construction services, budgeting, procurement, risk management, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Premier, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success managing project financial performance.
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
